FDD Access
The Franchise Disclosure Document is the legal document that describes the Meat Pod franchise in full. Here is what it contains, how you get it, and the rules around it.

What the FDD is
Under the Federal Trade Commission Franchise Rule, a franchisor must give every prospective franchisee a Franchise Disclosure Document before any agreement is signed or any money changes hands. It has 23 required items covering the franchisor, litigation and bankruptcy history, fees, initial investment, restrictions, obligations of both sides, financing, territory, trademarks, renewal and termination, financial performance representations (Item 19), outlet data, audited financial statements, and the franchise agreement itself.
How you get it
The FDD is provided to qualified candidates, not published on this site. The path is:
- Discovery call. A 30-minute conversation about your operation, your ground, and which pathway fits.
- Qualification. The funding intake and a short capital review so we both know the project can be financed.
- Delivery. We deliver the FDD electronically with a receipt for you to sign, which starts the review period.
The 14-day rule
You must have the FDD for at least 14 calendar days before you sign a franchise agreement or pay us anything. Take the time. Read Item 19 and the audited financials, and have a franchise attorney and your accountant read the whole document. We will not shorten that window and we will not ask you to.
State registration
Some states require a franchise offering to be registered or exempt before it can be offered or sold there. We only offer franchises in states where the offering is registered, exempt, or where registration is not required. If your state is not open yet, join the waitlist and we will tell you when it is.
Buying a pod is different
If you buy a pod outright instead of franchising a territory, no FDD applies. You receive an equipment purchase agreement, the site standard, and the training and SOP package. The discovery call covers both routes.
