Who we are
Meat Pod is a franchise and equipment program operated by Nebraska Farmers Network, LLC, Lincoln, Nebraska ("Meat Pod," "we," "us"). Questions about this policy go to franchise@meatpods.com.
What we collect
We collect information only when you give it to us or when it is needed to run the site.
- Contact and operation details you enter in the waitlist, request-information, funding intake, and calculator forms: name, email, phone, county and state, operation name, head count, financing needs, and similar fields.
- Calculator inputs and results when you ask us to email them to you.
- Scheduling details when you book a discovery call through our scheduling provider.
- Technical data such as IP address, browser type, pages viewed, and referring page, collected by our hosting and analytics providers to keep the site running and secure.
- Bot-protection signals from Cloudflare Turnstile on our forms, used only to tell people from automated traffic.
How we use it
- To respond to your inquiry, call you about a pod, and send the information you asked for.
- To evaluate franchise and purchase applicants and place pods in the order producers commit.
- To coordinate financing options when you authorize it on the funding intake.
- To operate, secure, and improve the website.
- To meet legal obligations, including franchise disclosure rules.
We do not sell your personal information, and we do not use it for third-party advertising.
Who sees it
Your information is handled by our in-house team and by service providers that run parts of the site for us under contract:
- Vercel (hosting and analytics), Supabase (form and lead storage), Resend (transactional email), Cal.com (call scheduling), and Cloudflare (bot protection).
- Partner lenders and grant programs, only for funding-intake submissions and only after you check the authorization box on that form.
- Professional advisers, regulators, or law enforcement when the law requires it.
Cookies and storage
The site uses a small number of cookies and browser storage entries: session cookies that keep you signed in to gated pages such as the investor overview and franchisee login, analytics cookies from our hosting provider, and cookies set by the scheduling embed when you use it. You can block cookies in your browser; gated pages will not stay unlocked if you do.
How long we keep it
Lead and application records are kept while we are working with you and for as long as franchise and business-records law requires afterward. You can ask us to delete your information at any time, subject to those retention duties.
Your choices
- Ask what information we hold about you, correct it, or ask us to delete it by emailing franchise@meatpods.com.
- Opt out of follow-up emails by replying to any message from us or using the unsubscribe link where one is provided.
- Residents of states with consumer privacy laws may have additional rights; we honor verified requests under those laws.
Security
Form submissions travel over encrypted connections and are stored with access controls. No system is perfectly secure, so please do not send us more than a form asks for, and never send account numbers or passwords by email.
Children
This site is for adults evaluating a business. We do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 18.
Changes
When this policy changes, the date at the top changes with it. Material changes will be noted on this page.
